Terms of Use
By installing or using Bolera ("the App") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't install it.
1. What Bolera is
Bolera is a client application that connects to a Jellyfin media server you control. It does not provide a music library of its own. All music streamed, downloaded, and played through Bolera comes from a Jellyfin server you have chosen to sign in to, and is subject to whatever licenses, rights, or restrictions apply to that content. Bolera is not affiliated with the Jellyfin project.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the legality of any content stored on the Jellyfin server you connect to.
- You are responsible for keeping your Jellyfin credentials secure.
- You agree not to use Bolera to access content you don't have the right to access.
- You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, redistribute, or repackage Bolera beyond what's allowed by these terms.
3. License
Bolera is licensed, not sold. The In-App Purchase known as "Bolera Pro" grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Pro features on devices you own or control, tied to your Apple ID via Universal Purchase.
Bolera's source code is published for transparency. No open-source license is granted. You may read and reference the source, file issues, and submit pull requests. You may not redistribute, fork into a competing product, or repackage the software without prior written permission. All rights reserved by Giant Mushroom Studios.
4. Third-party services
Bolera can optionally integrate with Last.fm. Your use of Last.fm is governed by Last.fm's own terms and privacy policy. Bolera passes requests directly between your device and Last.fm and is not responsible for Last.fm's operation, availability, or content.
5. Purchases & refunds
In-App Purchases are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies — please contact Apple Support to request a refund.
6. No warranty
Bolera is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Giant Mushroom Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
